چکیده

Cyclophosphamide is a widely used antitumor drug, with induced adverse effects, such as intestinal mucosal injury and immunosuppression. Norcantharidin possesses anticancer activity through enhancement of immunity. We investigated the role norcantharidin in cyclophosphamide-induced Mice were treated cyclophosphamide, exposed to norcantharidin. Enzyme-linked-immunosorbent serologic assay was performed assess levels immunoglobulin cytokines serum, splenic T lymphocytes analyzed by immunohistochemistry. Incubation increased serum G (IgG), interleukin (IL)-12, interferon-gamma (IFN-?), IL-6, enhanced percentage CD4+ CD8+ mice. Expression circBCL2L1 down-regulated spleen mice, while up-regulated incuba-tion. attenuated up-regulation miR-30c-3-3p down-regulation tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor-associated 6 (TRAF6) Over-expression cytokines, Moreover, over-expression TRAF6 mice miR-30c-3-3p. Knockdown norcantharidin-induced increase IgG, IL-12, IFN-?, exhibited protective effect against immunosuppression regulation circBCL2L1/miR-30c-3-3p/TRAF6 axis.

Targeting CD38 alleviates tumor-induced immunosuppression

Targeting CD38, a common blood cell membrane receptor highly expressed on many Band T-cell cancers, has achieved significant clinical activity with an acceptable safety profile in multiple myeloma (MM). Specifically, daratumumab (dara) was the first naked CD38 monoclonal antibody (mAb) approved for the treatment of relapsed and refractory MM (RRMM) in 2015. Importantly, it induces high response...

Septilin, A Polyherbal Formulation Against the Immunosuppression Induced by Cyclophosphamide and Cisplatin in Swiss Albino Mice

Background: Septilin (Spt) is an ayurvedic drug formulation from Himalaya Drug Company and is well-known for its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory activities. Interest in the use of medicinal plants and herbal medicine as immunomodulators has currently been the subject of scientific investigation worldwide. Cyclophosphamide (CP) and Cisplatin (Csp) are widely used chemothera...

Ginseng alleviates cyclophosphamide-induced hepatotoxicity via reversing disordered homeostasis of glutathione and bile acid

Cyclophosphamide (CP), a chemotherapeutic agent, is restricted due to its side effects, especially hepatotoxicity. Ginseng has often been clinically used with CP in China, but whether and how ginseng reduces the hepatotoxicity is unknown. In this study, the hepatoprotective effects and mechanisms under the combined usage were investigated. It was found that ginseng could ameliorate CP-induced e...

Cardiospermum inhibits Cyclophosphamide Induced Immunosuppression and Oxidative Stress

Conventional cancer treatments have many modalities, all directed at killing tumor cells or preventing their proliferation. The most common approach is chemotherapy, which is not selective toward tumor cells, but damaging to normal cells too. Immunosuppression is a major drawback of chemotherapy (Hersh and Freiriech, 1968). Cyclophosphamide (CTX) is a cytotoxic alkylating drug with a high thera...

Polysaccharide peptide (PSP) restores immunosuppression induced by cyclophosphamide in rats.

Polysaccharide peptide (PSP) is a protein-bound polysaccharide extracted from an edible mushroom, Coriolus versicolor. Effects of PSP (2g/kg/day) on cyclophosphamide (CPA, 40 mg/kg/2 days)-induced immunosuppression were investigated by determining lymphocyte proliferation, Natural killer (NK) cell formation, IgG and IL-2 concentration, WBC count and the weight of organs after rats were treated ...
